This weekend saw the two Mummy Bees/Soccer Mums teams kick off their season against opposition from other clubs with Soccer Mums teams.
The Maccabi FC Stingers took on the Chelsea FC Wildcats away on Sunday for a 7 – 0 win and the Maccabi FC Hornets took on the Bentleigh Cobras Huskies on Monday night under lights at Caulfield Park for a 5 – 1 win.
What a way to start their seasons!
Its only their first round of competitive games for 2024 but already they are showing great promise under the watchful eye of coach Robi.
Also, very importantly, they have adopted the “Playing in Purple” socks for their season to help raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research. Read about it here.
Thanks to all involved with the Mummy Bees committee, coach Robi and supporters for helping to make this group of ladies such a vibrant and exciting part of the club.
We wish them all the best of luck for the rest of the season!
