After a narrow loss in their first final game, Maccabi faced a daunting task: defeat Reservoir United by two goals or more to claim the title. Against a larger, more physically imposing opponent, Maccabi's resilience was immediately put to the test. Despite conceding an early goal, the young team refused to be deterred.
With a combination of skill, speed, and unwavering belief, Maccabi quickly equalized and took the lead. However, Reservoir fought back, and at halftime, the teams were locked in a 2-2 stalemate. A crucial halftime pep talk from their coach, coupled with strategic positional changes, ignited Maccabi's fire.
